Project Management

The project will be managed from SeaTec’s Head office, who will deliver the assistance of specialist disciplines during the plan approval and the project build period including, where required, attendance at factory acceptance tests, trials and meetings with the shipyard.

The main activities covered will include the ship’s hull, cargo containment system, machinery, plant and equipment outfit, the ships characteristics, Classification and mandatory rules and regulations applicable as well as practical operational and maintenance.

Plan Approval

SeaTec would examine all the key drawings and manuals, detailed calculation notes, load calculations, working plans and relevant technical data submitted by the shipbuilder and as agreed in the shipbuilding contract. 

The complete review process would be managed by SeaTec in accordance with our quality standard including document review database for handling comments from several locations ensuring efficient control of the plan approval process.

Supervision of Construction

SeaTec offers a complete service of on-site inspection supervision at the shipbuilders yard, sub-contractors workshops and main machinery and equipment manufacturers works from initial steel cutting phase, fabrication, machinery and equipment installation, commissioning, approval testing, sea trials and delivery of the vessel into service.
